Personalized Stylish Laptop Bag from Simply Bags

Hello everyone!  It's been rainy and gloomy here in LA again and I can't wait for some sun to shine.  I mean I do like rainy days but only when I get to stay home and bundle up in a warm blanket :)

Simply Bags sent me a personalized tote bag to try out and review.  I have always been a fan of personalized products and have always wanted those "his" and "her" hand towels in the bathroom lol  I also use to be crazy about those personalized stationaries and journals as well, they just look so elegant and classy.

In my opinion having anything personalized just makes it feel more like yours.  After all it doesn't look too cool to be rocking a bag or wear a shirt with someone else's initials or name on it unless that person was name Chanel or Marc Jacobs.

The bag I got is called "Stylish Laptop Bag" which you can view more info here http://www.simply-bags.com/stylish-laptop-bag.html.

I decided to get "Amy Naree" instead of just my initials A.N..

The inside of the bag contains little compartments to store various items.

My Dell laptop fits inside it perfectly with extra room for some books or paper.

The bag is not too big nor too small.  It's kind of just the right size!

My other picks from Simply Bags

Fashion Travel Bag
I love the print!

Quilted Lunch Bag
How fancy is that?  I would imagine someone like Blair from Gossip Girl to rock some lunch in this.
Cosmetic Travel Bag
This is just too adorable and perfect size to carry your beauty products.

Definitely check Simply Bags out if you are looking for some personalization!

NOTE:  The Stylish Laptop Bag was sent to me for review purposes.  I am not affiliated with Simply Bags and was not paid to do this.  All reviews and statements are based on my honest opinion.

Food Porn!

I've been eating way too much once again.

I was told that this was one of the best Ramen places in LA and their pork bone broth ramen was to die for!

I ordered the Daikoku Ramen of course.

The broth was amazing, it was super creamy yet very light and fluid.  Usually creamy broths are kind of thick in texture but this one was very light.  So good!

The gyoza was yummy as well.  The ends were deep fried like wontons.

Spotted a cute dress shop next door so just snapped a pic of their window display.

On that same day I had the Ramen, we went and had Pho earlier for lunch lol  I guess you can say I had a really soupy day XD

All you can eat KBBQ!  It's one of my favorite things ever.  The place we go to gives you korean tofu soup (soondubu) as part of it.

Had some breakfast at a French Cafe.  The omelet was really rich but delicious.  I was kind of disappointed in the croissant, it wasn't buttery and crispy as I expected.

Tuna Salad on cracker that I made myself.

Jasmine Tea Lemonade

Other randoms..

This was a giant bag of chips pillow!

I'm addicted to this right now, it's so tasty.  I just add some hot water and a splash of milk on top for my morning coffee.

I decided to put my HK scrunchie on my cat haha  He seemed to like it!

That's all for today, has everyone got their Sephora FF list ready?  I'm trying to keep it small but it's so hard.....so much I want but not much I need!

Dupe Discovery: MAC Jazzed and Wet n Wild Just Peachy

"When it rains, it pours", and it definitely has been pouring for the past 2 days over here.  It usually doesn't rain a lot in L.A. so I really don't have any cool rain gear like cute rain coats and boots.  This weather really makes me crave for a hot cup of tea or some really yummy porridge.

Okay enough of that and on to my dupe discovery.  I purchased my very first Wet n Wild Megalast lipstick after hearing many raves about them.  I decided to try out the color 903C Just Peachy.  The color was actually more pink than peachy but I noticed it reminded me of another lipstick I own.  To my surprise it was very similar to MAC's Jazzed lipstick which is LE.

They don't really look super identical side by side.  MAC's Jazzed definitely looks more peachy and WnW looks more pink.

Jazzed is a Cremesheen which looks matte on the lips but has a hint of glossiness.

WnW has a matte finish with no gloss.

Just Peachy - Right
Jazzed - Left

As you can tell by they are fairly similar but Jazzed is more on the peachier side and has a bit of gloss in the finish.

On the right I'm wearing Just Peachy and on the left I am wearing Jazzed.  They are both quite pigmented and in my opinion they look really similar on my lips.  They both give the same pale milky peachy/pink lips.

I thought it would be fun so I put Just Peachy on my upper lips and Jazzed on my bottom lips lol

So overall I think Just Peachy is a good super cheap dupe for MAC's Jazzed.  WnW lipsticks are only $1.99 which is definitely a steal if you are looking for a Jazzed fix since unfortunately they are Limited Editions!

So since I'm on a peach roll I thought I'd show you my current nail color.  The nail polish is by Shisem which I got as a gift, so I have no idea where to buy these.  The color is B240 and it's a gorgeous pearly peach color!  I generally am not a big fan of pearl/lustre finishes because they are hard to work with and mess up since I'm not that great at painting my own nails but I really like this color.  I was thinking of maybe topping it with some glitter later, but we'll see.

Speaking of nail polishes my collection is starting to grow rapidly.  I had this one bin for nail polishes and now it's starting to over flow :/  Did anyone take advantage of the Revlon Nail Polish deal at CVS? ($3 extra bucks, which makes them only 99 cents each).  The deal is still going on until Saturday so there's still time!

The colors I picked up are peach petal, peach smoothie, silver screen, and teak rose.  Can't wait to try them out!

Hope everyone has a good week and Friday comes soon :)

Also if you have time please check out my Blog sale, I added some new stuff!

Shiseido Lumunizing Satin Face Color RD 401 Orchid + Fuz's Giveaway Prize

The weather has been so crazy here in Los Angeles, it has been super hot all week and today it rained for like 5 mins then stopped lol  I'm not sure what's going on but I hope it cools down soon so I can get my fall layers on.

As most of you know I'm a blush addict.  They are by far my favorite out of all the other beauty products.  I'm always on the look out for some new blushes to try and the Shiseido Lumunizing Satin Face Color really caught my attention.  I think the word "Luminizing" just sounded so intriguing, that I had to get it!

These retail for $30.00 so they are not cheap.  You can find them at Sephora, Nordstrom, and probably any other stores that carry Shiseido.  I decided to pick one up in Orchid, it was a pretty rosey red color that looked like a perfect color for Fall.

I love the square black packaging, it's super sleek!

The brush that comes with it is actually really nice and soft.

Orchid is a gorgeous rosey red color.  There are no visible shimmers but this is definitely not a completely matte blush, it has a certain sheer sheen to it.  I guess that's what they mean by "luminizing".

The blush itself goes on sheer and but is easily buildable, so you don't have to worry about looking like a clown with this.  The powder is also very finely milled and goes on smoothly.

It gives me really cute rosey cheeks.  I'm loving this color so far!  The only thing is that I have oily skin so it lasting power is just okay but not amazing.  It will probably last me about 4 hrs and then I notice some fading, but that's because I get super oily so I'm sure it will last longer for people with dry skin.

Overall I really like this blush and I'm planning to get more!  I love how it goes on sheer and looks really natural.  The only downside is that it's a tad bit pricey so I'm probably going to wait for the Sephora FF sale to stock up on some more.  The colors I have my eyes on are Starfish (Sheer Golden Apricot), and Shell (tan with gold flecks).

Fuz's Giveaway Prize

Fuz from Fuzkittie hosted a Giveaway for Nano Organic products awhile back.  I was lucky enough to win 2nd place!  I haven't won a giveaway in so long and I was really excited to try out these products after seeing her reviews on them.

My prize included the Rejuvenation Serum.  It came in a clear bottle with a pump.

I've been using this for about a week but it's still too early to do any proper review on this.  It's very watery or in other words it basically just feels like water!  There is really no scent to it and so far it hasn't irritated my skin at all but I can't say I see or feel any difference yet.

The next thing I got was the Anti-aging Eye Cream.  I was most excited to try this because I was on a hunt for a good eye cream.

This too really had no scent.  The cream itself is really light and so far hasn't irritated my eyes.  It feels nice when I apply this to my eye area and seems to keep the skin around my eye area hydrated, but like I said it's too early to tell so I haven't seen any difference or results yet!

That's all for today hope everything is having a joyous weekend!  The BF is making slow cooker Mongolian Beef today so I'm excited to see how that turned out.  I'll definitely show you guys some pics on my  next post.  I haven't been eating out lately so no food pics to make you hungry this time around :)
