My Bag Collection for Summer's Giveaway

Hello! I know i'm a little late on jumping on this giveaway wagon, but that's just Amy the procrastinator taking over. So Summer is having her first giveaway and one of the rules is to show her your bag collection. So here is mine! It's not much, but it's all I gots :)

Bags from Thailand

My aunt in Thailand sent me these cute bags. I love them both, they are so cute and look as if they could be handmade (but i'm not sure). The blue beaded one is my fav, it's small and doesn't fit much but I like to use it on my nights out on the town.

Thrift Store Bags

I consider myself a bargain hunter. I enjoy seeking and finding new treasures at the thrift store. The brown bag is a cute little leather back pack and the other one is a cute little burberry purse. Not only is the thrift store great for bags, but I love to buy books there too (it's usually only $1 each).

Store bought bags

These two are just regular generic store bought bags. I'm currently using the French Connection (red stripe one) as my every day bag, and the blue one I got from Target recently.

Favorite bag

This is my favorite bag! It is by a company called Angry Little Girls, and I just adore their products. This one is my favorite because it reminds me of myself and how I feel most of the time hehe...

Hope you guys enjoyed my tiny bag collection. I use to have much more but I donated most of them. My clothes and bags were having a war in my closet, and my clothes won.

First Impression:
My first impression when I visited Summer's Blog is that she's a very positive person. I could tell this right off the bat by the way she smiles. In all her pictures she is happy and smiling. So I knew right away that her blog was going to be filled with cute and fun stuff! I'm so bad with age guessing but i'm going to guess that summer is around 18!

Summer's Giveaway ends in like 1 hour so (click) to enter now!

Last but not least... NOTD
OPI: Royal Flush Blush (love the name!)

The Green Eyed Monster

Hi pretties! I finally jumped on the circle lens bandwagon and ordered my first pair of Geo Lens. I got this from Ulzzang Style for 10% off using Eki's code after seeing it on her site. I was debating between grey and green, but for some reason I decided to try green first.

So this is how they look on me. They appeared darker on my eyes than I expected. It felt a little weird in my eyes at first but I slowly got use to it. They do feel dry after wearing it for a bit so eye drops is a must. I don't think I would be able to wear these for more than 3-4 hours because I have really dry eyes and my normal contact lens have a really high water content. Overall I think these are lens are super cute and definitely make your pupils so anime like. I definitely want to see how I would look in some grey or brown ones.

My normal pupils are too dark! I wish it would look more lime green-ish on me!

From my last post about blushes a few people were curious about purple-toned blushes. So here are some pics of me wearing the Smashbox Tokidoki Dolce Vita. It's a really cute pinky-purple color! (for some reason it looks more pink in the photos, but definitely has a purple undertone in real life... love it!)

It was so hot in LA over the weekend because of the fires! Hope everyone stayed cool and had a good weekend.

Oh Stop! You're making me blush...

Hi beautifuls! Happy Friday! Today I wanted to share my addiction of blushes with you by showing my blush collection. There's still a few more that i'm waiting for from a swap, but this what I have currently :)

The Pinkies

Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush - Rose Petal
(Sheer pink color with a hint of shimmer)
Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush - Soft Plum
(Sheer rosey color with a hint of shimmer)
Both these blushes are gorgeous and are super easy to apply. They are super smooth and feel like whip cream on your skin, the only thing is that they only stay on for about 1 hour for me at the most and just manages to some how glide off from my oily skin. Maybe it might last longer for dry skin people?

*FAV ALERT* Neutrogena Healthy Glow Blush - Fresh
(Matte pale baby pink)
This is one of the first blushes I ever bought. The color is very cute, natural and gives your skin a nice glow. It's basically foolproof because even if you accidently apply too much it still won't make you look like you have a lot of product on.

*FAV ALERT* Cargo - Catalina
(Cotton candy pink)
This is my first time owning a Cargo Blush and I absolutely love it (more detailed review on the bottom of the page)

T-estimo Blush - PK-20
(Angelic pink)
The color on this blush is super cute. It gives you gorgeous innocent pink cheeks, but I rarely use it because it is a loose powder blush so it get's too messy with my clumsy hands in the morning.

The Purplies
*FAV ALERT* Smashbox Tokidoki - Dolce Vita
(Lavender/plum tone with a hint of shimmer)
The box says that this can be used as a blush or an all over face highlight, but I found this to be amazing as a blush. The colors are not too pigmented but not too sheer and the texture is smooth. It gives me really cute fresh plum cheeks.

MAC Mineralized Blush - Gentle
(Shiny pink lavender)
This is one of those blushes that I would use if i'm going out at night. The color is really cute but it goes on really shimmery and glittery, so it doesn't look too natural. It's good for going out at night or for going to a party.

The Peachies
Estee Lauder Blushing - Pink Dream/Port Passion
(Coral pink color/sheer wine color)
The colors are really pretty and pigmented. I usually use the darker color for contouring and just put the other color on the apples of my cheeks. I feel like both these colors look really deep on my skintone so I don't really use this for everyday, mostly when I'm going out or on special occasions for a more sophisticated and dramatic look.
La Praire Cream Blush - Peach Glow
(Light coral peach)
I don't own too many cream blushes but this one is really nice. It gives my skin a nice peachy glow.

Revlon Matte Blush - Perfectly Peach
(Matte peach)
I really liked this blush at first but discovered that I had to apply a lot of product on to get the color to show. This might be more suitable for lighter skin tones. The color is really nice and natural, but I rarely grab for this because it takes too much effort for it to appear on my cheeks.

Cover Girl Cheekers - Rose Silk
(Rosey coral)
I read on MUA that this was a dupe of Nars Orgasm and that's why I got this. I don't own the Nars blush so I can't really tell you if it is or not. Aside from that the color is really cute. It gives your cheeks a nice flushed look. I don't really like the texture of this blush, it's not as smooth and the texture is kind of grainy so I don't use it too often.

Majolica Majorca Blush - OR211
(Sheer orange)
I got this blush from a blog sale and really adore it. The color looked really orange but when you apply it on your cheeks it just gives you a nice natural sunkissed glow. The texture is really smooth and it goes on matte with no shimmers. I think this color compliments medium skintones really well but might look too orange for lighter skin tones. I also really love the packaging, it's super small and compact which is perfect for travel.

The Darkies
Loreal True Match Blush - Subtle Sable
(Deep rose)
This is a nice deep rose wine color. I use this when I want to look more serious and sophisticated.

Estee Lauder Bronzer - Bronze Goddess
(Sheer bronze)
This is one of my favorite bronzers. I don't particularly like bronzers because I feel that it just makes my tan skin darker. This one is really nice though because it's not too glittery or shimmery. It's very sheer and can easily be used to give a subtle bronze effect on the cheeks.

Review Cargo Blush - Catalina

This little review is for Kalmo (Cambo Soup), a really sweet blogger gal that I'm glad to have met on blogspot :)

This is one of my favorite blushes right now!

Packaging:
It comes in a tin like can. The packaging is really covenient and is the perfect size for you to swirl around your blush brush in.

Texture:
Super smooth and fine texture. You get a lot of product on the brush with just one swipe. It goes on very powdery for easy blending, but not cakey. The color is also very pigmented, so you don't need much at all.

Color: Cotton candy pink with tiny hints of shimmer (very subtle and won't make you look like a disco ball). This is my go to every day blush because it makes me feel cute and youthful.

Lasting Power: This blush basically can stay on all day. The color might fade a little mid day, but that's most likely with all blushes especially if it's hot and your sweating.

Re-purchase: YES! I actually want to collect all the colors. I have to admit I like these more than MAC blushes (I've owned a few but you don't see it in my collection because I have swapped most of them out). Cargo blushes have a more silkier and smoother texture than MAC in my opinion. The down side is that they are a bit pricey (around $24-25), so I won't be buying them too often.

China Glaze - Secret Periwinkle

So pretty! I think this would make a great wall color.

Hi Beauties! Today I wanted to share with you the damage I've been doing to my wallet as of recently. I've been shopping like crazy!!... I really need to take a break (just for a little bit)

Beauty Ticket Haul (www.beautyticket.com)

If you guys haven't heard of Beauty Ticket they are an online beauty store that sell cosmetics, nail polishes, and skincare products for up to 85% off retail. They have brands like Smashbox, YSL, Stila, Pop Beauty and many more.. I discovered it not too long ago and could not resist the great deals they had! The shipping was also really fast.

China Glaze Nail Polishes in Agent Lavender and Secret Peri-winkle. Love the colors!
(only $1.99 each!)

Free Tweezer with my order and Lola Gel Eye Colour in Tahiti (gorgeous green shade). I think this was only like $3-4, don't remember.

Smashbox Tokidoki Soft Lights & Brush Set in Dolce Vita (so cute, I heart Tokidoki!) The brush is also really soft and bigger than I expected. This was $17.99.

Jelly Pong Pong Lip Sorbet in Rhubarb Perserve and Canteloupe Frosting. They came in these adorable black lace bags that are soooooo adorable. I tried on the lip product it is really nice, smooth, and not sticky at all. I would totally get more (mainly for the cute lace bags hehe). These were like $3-4 each.

This is how they look outside the lacey bags. Very cute and compact, great to drop in your purse.

Smashbox Limited-Edition Tokidoki Stellina Mirror Compact - This is so cute, it's going in my make up bag. This was $11.99

Random Hauls

Mugu Brown Gel Liner - Swap from MUA
Maybelline Mineral Veil Powder in Dark - going to attempt contouring
Koji Eye Lash Curler - this seems to fit my eye shape better than the Shu Uemura
Sephora Haul

Cargo Blush in Catalina - Shimmery Cotton Candy Pink. Love, love, love this color! Been wearing this for a few days in a row now.

Coverblend Concealer in Sand - Actually got this on Ebay. Heard great reviews on this so I am going to give this a try!
Benefit Boing Concealer and Eye Bright - It was only $8 on Sephora so couldn't resist! (no sale resistence)

*PHEW* so that concludes my recent hauls. Still have a few more stuff coming in the mail from DHC and Etude House. I really need to take a spending break, atleast long enough to properly enjoy and play with the new stuff I got :)

I tried a sample of the Banila "Let Me Bebe" BB Cream in Nude today.
I actually really like it. It kind of brightens my face and has more coverage than the Legere. The description says it provides coverage, whitening, and spf protection. This is going on my "To Buy" list but it will have to wait awhile, it cost around $30 on Ebay (pricey!).

Your only as young as your hands...

Hello everyone! Hope your day is going well. Today I wanted to do a little post about hand care. As much as I am obsessed with beauty, I'm starting to pay more attention to my skincare and taking it more seriously. Afterall, we are not getting any younger!

One of the first signs of aging is usually revealed through the hands. This is because it is one of the most used parts on our body. It is constantly being moved, touched, and exposed. Proper hand care is crucial if you want a youthful hand to match your face. Or else... you might end up like this..............

Eep!

My hand care products:

(left to right)
Sally Hansen's Anti Wrinkle Hand Cream - I bought this in hopes that it would help diminish the fine lines that were forming on my hands. This did not work at all and I did not see any improvement. It was ok as a moisturizer, but I would not re-purchase this again.

Neutrogena Age Shield - This is a great sunscreen for your hands. Sun Damage is what will speed up the aging process. I use this after I apply a hand moisturizer.

La Mer Hand Cream - I use this at night before I go to bed to keep my hands hydrated while I sleep. This is just a small sample size so I've been trying to conserve it as long as I can. I like the texture of this cream and it absorbs quickly. I think it's a really good hand cream that will help your hands from future damage, but since its so pricey i'm not sure if I'm going to repurchase this after I run out.

(left to right)
Cucumber Hand Sanitizer - Keeps the germs at bay and smells good!

Boots No7 Protect & Perfect Protection Hand Cream with SPF 15 - After being disappointed with the Sally Hansen, I got this hand cream to try out. It also claimed to improve the texture of your skin and diminish fine lines, while protecting your hands from future damage! I'm really loving this hand cream so far and have seen some improvements. The texture is creamy, but it absorbs fairly well. It has sort of a noticeable perfume smell but I don't mind it so much because it's just my hands. This can be used for both day and night time, but i'm only use it for day right now. I also love that it has SPF!

Extra Stuff - 1 -You should also exfoliate your hands once a week to get rid of dead skin cells. I usually just use a body or face scrub but they also sell hand exfoliators out there if you prefer.
2- You should always immediately moisturize your hands after washing them and not leave them dehydrated.
3- When doing the Dishes or Chores around the house try wearing gloves so that chemicals from products don't dry out or damage your hands.
3- Always apply sunscreen on your hands every time you go out!

I am still on the look out for more great hand products, so if you have any to recommend please let me know!
My BBB Lisa (Shopnchomp) is having her first giveaway for reaching 100+ followers! She's one of the first few girls I got to know on blogspot when I first got started and she's been nothing but sweet and kind to me. Most of you probably already know her (she's pretty popular on the blog block hehe) and her awesome blog. If not (click here)!

Such cute prizes!

May (May's Beauty Obsession) is also having a giveaway for reaching 50+ followers!
I spy Paul & Joe and Majolica Majorca ..oooh! great stuff
