Girly Niche: July 2010

Hi! I'm back again with another Beautyticket.com haul lol I am just a sucker for sales what can I say? I guess it is safe to say there shouldn't be another haul anytime soon because their private sales are over (for now...).

So like always the sale items went fast. By the time I got around to actually ordering half of the stuff were already gone. In a way it sucks but then again it's sort of good for me so I don't end up buying on impulse.

Urban Decay Brow Box - Beige Betty

I actually wanted this awhile back and kind of forgot about it. I love the fact that it comes with 2 powder colors, wax,mini brush, and mini tweezers. The box is the perfect size for traveling or taking with you in your purse.

Beige Betty (Medium Ash Brown) was the only color they offered and I figured it would work nicely for a natural day time look. For more dramatic brows I would probably need a darker color.

I use the lighter color to fill in sparse areas and use the darker color to shape and define. The powder itself applies really nicely and stays put pretty much all day.

I'm also really digging the brow wax. I never really used brow wax before but it does really make a difference in how neat your brows look!

Urban Decay Lipstick - Buzzkill

The lipsticks sold out fast and most of the colors that were left were the darker tones. Don't get me wrong, I love dark and deep lipstick colors but I don't really get a chance to use it much so I'm trying to stray away from buying stuff that I know I won't put to good use!

The one color that was left that looked wearable was Buzzkill, which is a rosey raspberry color. I also think the name is fairly funny because sometimes I do think of myself as a little Buzzkill lol because I'm always the one who starts feeling sick way before everyone else during a night out drinking.
