MAC All About Orange Lipsticks - Sushi Kiss, Sweet and Sour, Flamingo, Tangerine Dream

I haven't hauled any new MAC Collections in awhile but I couldn't resist the All About Orange Collection.  I've always been a fan of orange lipsticks, blushes, and eyeshadows.  There's just something about orange...

All the colors are gorgeous.  I don't personally own anything like them in my collection.  My two favorites are Flamingo and Tangerine Dream.  This is probably because they are both very wearable for everyday use.  They are both sheer but buildable.

This is not the end, stay tuned for other items I got from this collection!

Herschel supply and Kanken backpacks

..so it begins with getting a laptop for work
...then the realization that I don't own a laptop bag
....from there the daily struggles of carrying 3 bags daily ( 1 personal, 1 for gym, 1 for laptop)
.....which began the hunt
......which caused the discovery
.......which now became a new obsession

Herschel Supply Bags

Back in my days, owning a Jansport was the coolest thing since slice bread.  Backpacks have taken the turn for the better since then.  I first saw them at Madewell (my all time fav store ever), and then started searching them online.  After looking at these bags by Herschel Supply, I would rock them anytime on a daily basis.  No school enrollment required!

The price is however on the high side but they come with a guarantee for quality and durability.  But my main excuse for needing to own one of these is the fact that it has a built in laptop sleeve, which is perfect.  This means I can eliminate 1 personal, and 1 lap top bag and combine them into 1 Herschel Bag :).

Kanken Backpacks

During my Herschel bag exploration I stumbled upon Kanken Backpacks.  The fun colors, the square shape, and the handle on top hooked me in.  Who knew that they have already been trending worldwide.  I'm basically late on the backpack trend apparently.

Just like the Herschel bags most of the Kanken bags also has a hidden laptop sleeve inside.

At the end of all those hours of online browsing I ended up getting this bag...

But Kanken bags are still in my thoughts so maybe one day soon :)

My kind of butter - Revlon Colorburst in Sorbet

Anything with the word butter in it automatically screams goodness to me.  It's hard to believe that I only own 2 of the Revlon Colorburst lip butters.  I never felt that I needed all the colors because:

1 - I have pigmented lips and most of them run sheer, which means they would all kinda look all the same on my lips anyhow.
2 - They feel great going on but don't really replace a lip balm for me in terms of lasting hydration for my lips.
3- The tint of color does not last very long on the lips since they are not a stain.  So on an average they probably last 10-30 mins on me because I'm constantly drinking (coffee, tea, water) or snacking on something.

So recently Revlon came out with some new shades and I just happen to be intrigued and picked one up in Sorbet.  This color reminds me of Mac's Girl About Town lipstick (which is my all time fav) but in tint form!

This color surprisingly has good pigmentation and gives your lips a nice fresh pop of color.  Hands down my favorite butter thus far!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.  Til next time...

Exit Reviews - Bioderma, Oribe, Origins, Hadalabo

Hi everyone!  Wow...it feels like it's been forever.  I had an issue with blogger a awhile back where all my images from previous posts were not showing up properly so I just ended up deleting all my old posts :(, which makes this blog feel so empty now.  Oh well, time to start filling them up with new ones again!

Since I have been away for quite some time I did manage to finish up some products.  I love reading/watching about products that people finish up so I figured I should do a post about stuff that I have finished as well.

Here goes...

1. Bioderma Crealine Sensibio H2o Cleanser travel size (for sensitive skin)

I use this to remove my make up.  It does a great job and is non-irritating.  It can also remove mascara, but if you are using the crazy waterproof japanese ones then I wouldn't count on it!

Repurchase?  Yes.  I ended up buying a full size bottle but the one for Oily Skin.  To be honest I wish I would of gotten the full size of the Sensibio instead because I feel that the Oily Skin one is not as gentle.  But it's still good!

2. Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray (purse size)

I have fine hair, no volume, and on top of that an oily scalp.  I like to spray this on my roots and it gives my hair a nice lift (nothing crazy).  What I like most about this stuff is it keeps my hair oils at bay through out the day and is also great for refreshing them if I'm going out later that night.  The smell is also amazing!

Repurchase?  Yes.  I went full size!

3. Origins age erasing moisturizer with Mimosa

It probably took me about a year to finish this stuff up.  At first I wasn't too crazy about the Mimosa scent but it grew on me.  This works well as just an everyday moisturizer but I didn't see any anti-aging effects.

Repurchase?  No.  I ended up getting the Origins Rejuvenating Moisturizer to try out instead.

4. Hada labo Gokujyun Lotion

Although this is called a lotion I use it more like a toner.  The consistency is very watery and refreshing.  I like to pat this on right after I come out of the shower and it gives my skin a nice moisturizing feeling.  I don't feel like it does anything beyond that, but I prefer it over toners with alcohol.

Repurchase?  Yes.  I haven't yet but planning to soon.

That's all for now!  I'm trying to be good and finish up products I own before going out to buy new stuff to try.  Hope you guys found this helpful.

Til next time...
