Beauty Buffet Haul from Thailand

Hello gorgeous!  Today is the last of my 4 day weekend and tomorrow work week begins.  I pretty much just lounged around all weekend and probably ate my way into gaining 2-3 lbs.  For some reason during the Holidays I always convince myself that it is ok to eat whatever I want and be good later once it's all over.  I can't help it, food during the Holidays are just simply delicious!!

Pies, Egg  Nog, Chocolates, Yams, Potatoes, Ham, Cheese and Crackers....yummo!

As for shopping I was actually good and didn't do too much damage with all the sales and deals going on this weekend.  I hope I can keep this up because tomorrow is Cyber Monday and there are a few deals I have my eyes on ( Tarte 40% off, Bobbi Brown 20% off, Forever21 and Sephora Free Shipping).  I'm trying really really hard to resist!

For Black Friday I did  some online shopping and placed an order at Makeup.com (50% off deal), and on Clinique (Free Shipping).  I will show you guys what I got once they come in!

My aunt went to Thailand a few weeks ago and I had asked my mom to ask her to pick me up some stuff from Beauty Buffet.  I really wanted to order some other products like Japanese and Korean make up stuff but my mom convinced me that my aunt didn't really have too much time to go around getting stuff so I was only allowed to get stuff from 1 brand.  I picked Beauty Buffet since I knew it was a local Thai brand and they had multiple stores around the city so I figured it wouldn't be too hard for her to find!

I first found out about this brand through Zoe (http://13december.blogspot.com).  I did a swap with her awhile back and she included some Beauty Buffet goodies as extras.  I really loved the stuff she gave me and I really wanted to try more stuff from them.

I love their nail polishes!  The colors are really pigmented (1 coat is usually enough) and it doesn't chip or wear away easily.  I told my aunt to just pick me up random colors.  These were 3 for 100 Baht (which is only $3 USD).

I got 2 lipglosses in True Nude, and Fiesta Rose.  Both are really lovely colors.

It comes with a sponge tip applicator.  The gloss itself goes on really smooth, no stickiness, and no scent.

I also got 2 lipsticks in Peach Pearl, and Nude.

Both lipsticks are really creamy and glides on very smooth.

I'm wearing the Nude Lipstick with Nude Lip gloss over it.  I think it's a good combo when you just want natural lips.

I'm wearing the lipstick in Peach Pearl.  The color comes out more like coral red.

...and of course I ordered some blushes!

I got 3 blushes in Merry Pink, Little Rose, and Blush Coral.

The packaging is adorable!

I definitely recommend anyone who is visiting Thailand or doing a swap with someone from Thailand to check out this brand!  The prices are really affordable and all the stuff I have tried so far were very impressive!

A few weeks back I ordered the Essie Holiday Mini Set from Ulta.  I mainly got this because I wanted to try out Candy Mint Apple but I figured it wouldn't hurt to get the set!

I'm so in love with this color!!  It's so adorable and cute.  It definitely makes me feel like the Holiday Season is here!

I wish everyone a Happy Day and a Pleasant Night!

Life is just peachy.. Happy Turkey Day!

Happy Turkey Day!  Hope everyone is enjoying themselves, I know I am because we get a 4 day weekend...yay!  I am actually not doing anything special this year for Thanksgiving.  Usually I would go over to my bf's sister's house because she always hosts a Thanksgiving party there but this year she isn't so we are just staying home and maybe grabbing take out.  I'm really not good at cooking and have never made my own  turkey before.

This year I am really thankful for my Family, BF, Friends, and of course all the sweet girls I have met on Blog!

Today I just wanted to share with you guys my recent buys.  Coincidentally they all have been pretty peachy...hehe

Blushies!

Jbreezy's Blog Sale (http://jbreezybaby.blogspot.com/)

Picked up the Benefit Coralista Blush from Jbreezy's Blog Sale!  I have been wanting this blush for awhile now but just never got around to getting it so when I saw this up for sale on her blog I had to get it!

She included all these cute little extras in her package!  Thank you Joanna. the chocolates were yummy!

I also got my blush addict hands on the infamous Nars Orgasm blush from another blog sale.  This is my first ever Nars Blush and it did not disappoint!  It really does give you that natural flush/glow and I have been using it almost everyday now.

Lippies!

Everyone has been raving about YSL Rouge Volupte Lipsticks so I jumped on the bandwagon and bought myself one in No. 13 Peach Passion.

I was also really curious to try Shu Uemura's Rouge Unlimited Lipsticks so I got one in Crystal Shine OR 531S

I adore both of them dearly.  The packaging for both is super cute!

Left (YSL) Right (Shu)

The YSL is a matte peachy pink color while the Shu Uemura is a gorgeous sheer peachy coral with tiny hints of shimmers.

Pictures of me with Benefit Coralista on.  I love the color!

For Thanksgiving I decided to paint my nails with Zoya Moxie

The color reminds me of Cranberry Sauce!

On an unrelated note...

I went to Mitsuwa (Japanese Market) the other day and this chocolate called Crisp Choco to try.

It's like a chocolate pie!  This stuff is so yummy, it tastes like chocolate rice crispy treats.  I am guilty of the missing slice.

Have a great weekend everyone!  Anyone shopping on Black Friday?

Til next time...toodles!

EOTD - Stila can cam 4-pan palette

Hi beauties!  Hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend.  Thanksgiving is coming up and I am super exciting because we get Thursday and Friday off from work so that means only 3 days of work this week.. yay!

I attempted to organize and clean up my room a bit today and came across this Stila Palette that I had gotten about a week ago but have not even touched it yet.  So I decided to play with it a little and do an EOTD with it.

Stila Can Cam Palette

This Japan-only 4-pan palette - made in Stila's signature cardboard style - was created to commemorate the 25th anniversary of CanCam magazine - THE fashion magazine in Japan. And now it is available to Stila girls everywhere!

Three wet/dry eye shadows and one shimmery cheek color will give you a classic Stila look.

This palette came out quite awhile ago and I have been wanting it ever since but barely just got my hands on it.  Stila website is selling it for $18 so I couldn't resist!

The front cover is so cute!

left to right: cheek color, liner color, crease color, base color

All the colors are really cute and simple.  Perfect for a day time look!

Sorry for my raccoon eyes, forgot to put on concealer!

Final Thoughts:  Overall I really like this palette.  The color combination is really simple and pretty.  The texture is really nice and has just the right about of pigmentation.

In other news, I'm still pretty obsessed with the Kdrama "You're Beautiful"!  I just can't get enough of it and every time I watch it the little girl inside me can't help but giggle haha

Here's Park Shin Hye posing for Nylon.  I think she's adorable with her tom boy look.  It's very rare for a girl to look cute as a guy and girl!

This is random..but wow can I live here?

Til next time...toodles!

My Pretty Sample Bag - Sephora Claus - Zoya Hot Lips

Happy Friday!! We get free bagels every Friday and I'm stuffing my face with one of these babies again (there goes my waistline).

Hi pretties!  I'm sure most of you guys have heard of "My Pretty Pink Box".  A box that you purchase that is filled with random full/sample size beauty products.  The only down side to My Pretty Pink Box is that you never know what you are going to get!

I just wanted to let you guys know of a new site from the same creators and it's called "My Pretty Sample Bag", which is the same thing as My Pretty Pink Box except that you get to pick your own samples!  I actually found out about this through Twitter and thought it was pretty cool.

They change their products and samples all the time so if you don't see anything you want at the moment be sure to check later.  I saw that some products are actually full size and not just sample sizes.  Since I purchase so many beauty/skincare products it is nice to sample some of them first before splurging on the full size.

They also have a giveaway on their blog right now so go enter and check it out! (http://myprettypinkbox.blogspot.com/)

My Pretty Sample Bag is not your ordinary sample site! If you love sample boxes, then enjoy a company that lets you choose the exact beauty retailers you wish to try. Create your own bag of fabulous sample treats and introduce yourself to some wonderful new businesses.
This is a great way to spoil yourself rotten - Pamper yourself, you deserve it!

Step 1
ADD A SAMPLE BAG to your cart.

Step 2
Choose your samples --- add the correct number to your cart.

Step 3
Checkout and enjoy your samples when they arrive!

Some brands that I saw that they currently have: NYX, Revlon, Eyeko, Mark

I am thinking of getting one, have any of you ordered one before?

Sephora Claus

Speaking of Twitter, if you guys have an account be sure to tweet your wish to Sephora Claus!  Sephora is granting 1 wish every day for a total of 30 days.  You have to have a Twitter account though.  Here's the link to tweet your wish to Sephora Claus.

Zoya Hot Lips

This is another deal that I found out through Twitter! haha ..i'm such a Twitter addict!

Zoya was giving away 3 free Zoya Hot Lips and all you have to pay for is shipping.  So I got me some in Meow, Kiss Kiss, and Blog (haha had to get this one because of the name).

The packaging is really short and fat compared to normal lip gloss tubes.

swatches left to right: meow, kiss kiss, blog

They have all sorts of cute colors on the website.  The gloss itself smells like Starburst Candy, and they all have that same scent.

Here is Kiss Kiss (the bright looking fuchsia one) on my lips.  As you can see the colors aren't as pigmented as they look.  The gloss goes on very sheer.  If you have pigmented lips like me some of the lighter colors (like meow) barely even show up on my lips.

The texture is nice and very moisturizing.  It has a little stickiness to it but not too much.

Purchase? No, unless there was a special deal I might pick up some of their darker gloss colors. This gloss might be good for people who don't have pigmented lips as the color would show up much better but for me there's really not enough color.

New Curling Iron!

I have been curling my hair a lot lately to add some volume to my limp long hair.  The curling iron that I was currently using I have had it for over 5 years so I figured it was time to get a new one.

This one really intrigued me when I saw it because it was by Ken Paves ( the famous Hair Stylist that does Jessica Simpson's hair).  He seems to know about hair so I figured why not?  I really want a curling iron by Chi but the price is a little bit out of my league at the moment.

It came in this really cool box with Ken all over it! haha  I also like the white and silver color.

Also came with a cool traveling pouch.

So far I am loving it.  It heats up really fast and doesn't feel like it damages my hair so much.  It also gives me nice, fluffy, and airy curls.

Have a lovely day and a good weekend!
